Schedule :
Day 1 : 14th December 2023-Thursday -Arrive Kochi, Reach Thattekadu , Check in, Lunch, afternoon birding
Day 2 : 15th December 2023-Friday-We start 6 am for birding. Full day birding.
Day 3 : 16th December 2023 -Saturday -Munnar visit to look out for few endemic birds
Day 4 : 17th December 2023-Sunday Full Day birding
Day 5 : 18th December 2023 Monday -After breakfast Check out

Cost includes:
- Twin-sharing accommodation in comfortable home stay birding lodge, Thattekadu
- All meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) as mentioned in the itinerary
- Mentor fees + Guide fees
- Sanctuary entrance fee
- Night birding
- One day trip to Munnar birding ( transport + food included)
- Pick up and drop from Kochi airport to Thattekadu
- All local transport, park to birding lodge.
Cost excludes:
- All other individual expenses.
- Air fare, transport from hometown to Kochi.
- Any kind of personal expenses, soft drinks, laundry and phone calls.
- Anything that is not listed under ‘inclusions’
Payment terms :
50 % payment for booking as registration is confirmed.
Balance payment has to be done one month before the workshop. You can pay GPay or send direct bank transfer.

Why Thattekadu and Munnar?
With Rathika you get to know the birds and its habitat. With 240 + bird species Thattekadu bird sanctuary is hotspot for bird watchers and bird photographers. This trip is open to all bird watchers, amateur photographers, hobby photographers, anyone who wants to explore Thattekadu bird Sanctuary and Western ghat birds. This trip helps to develop your birding and different bird habitat knowledge, all field techniques, practical knowledge of bird shoots, presenting you your work and wildlife conservation etc. If you have never visited Thattekadu/Western ghat/Munnar then this is the trip to look for. Rathika helps you come back with stunning images and loads of field knowledge.
Thattekadu and Munnar is one of the hotspots for western ghat endemic birds. Must visit for Bird Photographers. Please note that wildlife sighting is a matter of chance and only mother nature has control over what you are able to see. We will be trying our best to get all birds on the checklist. However, actual sightings are always a matter of luck. Check list will be sent before the workshop.
